High-Efficiency Actuators

Sept. 15, 2005
The Type VLA actuator incorporates a patented Caged Technology, a QZ Lubricator, and electromechanical components.

Caged Technology separates rolling elements with a synthetic resin cage that retains grease, and reduces maintenance costs. The QZ Lubricator ensures optimal lubrication within the ball-screw unit. The Type VLA replaces pneumatic cylinders in many applications. The electromechanical components minimize the possibility of contamination from lubricants, audible noise and damaging friction. Type VLA is available in slide and cylinder types and is compatible with most popular ac or dc servomotor controller packages. Rated speeds range from 300 to 600 mm/sec; ball-screw leads are from 6 to 12 mm.
