Sheet-Metal Nesting Software

May 10, 2007
Radan 07 sheet-metal software lets users nest components around clamps, provide angular orientation of parts within the nest, and accurately compensate for individual tool shapes.

The release includes an improved Remnant Nesting/Remnant Tracking feature for automatic recording of material for reuse. Additional features include Radbend CNC for offline programming of press-brake machines with full 3D model simulation of the bending process; automatic bend sequence calculation, automatic tool selection and finger-stop placement, and powerful collision detection of components with the machine and tooling. A wider range of machine tools are supported including Amada, Beyeler, Accurpress, LVD, Finnpower, Pullmax/Ursviken, and Trumpf.
