April 26, 2007
Titanium-nitride coating on step drills reduces friction and increases drill life by a factor of six uncoated step drills.

Titanium-Nitride-Coated Step Drills

All step drills have three flats ground on the shank, preventing the drill from slipping in the chuck. A balanced double flute provides two cutting edges for faster and easier cutting in most soft and hard materials. They are available with 14 and 38-in. shanks.
