Quick Connections for Big Wire

May 5, 2005
The Wall-Nuts 773 Series of push-wire connectors now handles awg 10 wire.

The new connector, item #773-173, accepts three conductors. The 773 Series provides numerous benefits over traditional twist-wire connectors. They cut wiring time by up to 50% by eliminating wire twisting and taping. The technician simply strips the wire and inserts the conductor. The transparent housing allows for visual confirmation of the connection, ensuring greater reliability and less time spent trouble-shooting. In addition, each connector has a test port for easy testing without reinsertion. Connectors are rated to 105°C. A special four-point version, part #773-124, is available with a special point for an awg #18 stranded copper wire to simplify the connection of incandescent light fixtures, dimmer switches, ceiling fans, and other accessories. Wall-Nuts carry UL and CSA labels, with a 600-V rating for building installation wiring and 1-kV rating for lighting fixtures and signs.
