Cushion Mounting Tapes

Nov. 3, 2005
R/bak SA 3000 cushion mounting tapes are designed for use in wide-web flexible packaging printers.

They are made from open-cell urethanes with an acrylic adhesive backing. Tapes are 0.020 in. (0.51 mm) thick and help printers create more consistent output (lower dot gain and higher solid-ink densities) even on rough surfaces. The tapes also eliminate press problems including gear banding and press bounce. The tape's transparent textured liners ease mounting and minimize air bubbles. A high-performance adhesive allows for quick repositioning of both tape and plate prior to printing.
