New Products: Air knife Covers Wide Surfaces

Aug. 21, 2008
The 54-in. Super Air Knife produces a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry, or cool wide surfaces.

The unit’s energy-efficient design minimizes compressed-air use by mixing 40-parts room air to one-part compressed air.

The knife directs compressed air across a precise machined surface for uniformity and low noise (77 dBA). The 1.75 1.44-in. profile, along with inlets on each end and on the bottom, permits easy mounting in tight spaces. Multiple units can be mounted end to end without dead spots. Constructed of aluminum or stainless steel, the maintenance-free knife has no moving parts to wear out, and comes in 3 to 54-in. lengths.
