New Product: Optical Sensor With Ring Light

Feb. 21, 2008
Sharpshooter is a true optical sensor that uses vision technology.

Features include a small 58 52 40-mm footprint and a built-in and lockable focus adjustment lens ring for easy aiming and focusing. Four projectable LED marks define the target area for initial alignment of the camera image area. It also includes configurable discrete I/O that can be used to trigger the sensor and external lighting, signal pass/ fail status to external controls, and change internal operational jobs. An Ethernet TCP/IP port allows configuration via PC directly or over a network topology. Windows-based configuration GUI software also includes emulation capability to let users set the device up off-line.
