Voltage Regulator ICS

Dec. 9, 2004
The SI-300xKWM/KWD/KWF family includes low-cost, dual 1-A output, low dropout voltage regulators (LDOs), available in TO-252, TO-263, and TO-220 styles.

The package's special groundpotential tab for the TO-252 and TO-263 boosts PCB power-dissipating capability and improves PCB design-component density using a widely available ground pattern. Low dropout voltage and low quiescent current enhance system efficiency by minimizing power dissipation, while overcurrent and thermal protections enhance system-level reliability. Output voltage combinations range from 1.5 to 3.3 V, with the output current of 1 A per channel, covering various requirements of two different supply voltages of cores or other circuits.
