6.5-Digit USB Digital Multimeter

Aug. 9, 2007
Model 2100 is a high-precision, 6½-digit DMM with 10-Vdc accuracy of 38 ppm at a measurement rate of 50 readings/sec at full resolution, and over 2,000 readings/sec at 4½-digit resolution.

Eleven measurement functions cover the most common parameters of volts, ohms, amps, and RTD temperature as well as mx+b, dB, and dBm math modifiers. Selectable front and rear inputs plus two and four-wire remotesense resistance inputs allow use as a stand-alone, benchtop DMM or in small data-acquisition systems.

The USB interface supports the test and measurement class (TMC) protocol that lets standard commands for programmable instrumentation (SCPI) be sent over the bus for added data transfer and control options. The unit includes KI-Tool, a built-in graphic utility that provides trend plotting and data transfer to a PC. Another tool exports data to Excel and Word documents.
