Wash-Down Valves Need No Protective Cabinet

Feb. 17, 2005
The Clean Line Series CL03 pneumaticvalve manifold system features a hygienic design, the ability to withstand aggressive detergents and chemicals, high protection class, and a high degree of modularity and flexibility

. The system has an IP69K protection class rating for high-pressure wash down up to 1,450 psi. Because protective cabinets are not necessary, valves can mount closer to the actuators. The valves' high flow (up to 0.85 Cv) makes them suitable for a wide variety of applications. Gaps between the valve protection covers allow easy cleaning and avoid dirt pockets.

The CL03 consists of individual subbases in inch or ISO-G ports. Each subbase has its own integrated circuit card that lets the system expand up to 16 valves in single-valve increments. Each valve can be individually supplied with two different pressures; therefore one valve can handle up to 32 different pressures.
