CFD Works With Many CAD

May 25, 2006
CFD-CADalyzer 2006 software lets users perform design-level analysis with a simple, intuitive simulation interface.

The software, which includes pre and postprocessors, simulates flow and heat transfer and lets users compare results over a range of varying geometries and operational conditions. The recent version includes a boundary-layer meshing sequence that suppresses tiny features to build high-quality meshes for complex geometries. The software works with widely used CAD packages such as SolidWorks, Pro/E, Unigraphics, Inventor, Solid Edge, and Mechanical Desktop.
