Thermal Insulator

May 11, 2006
T-gard 500, a thermally conductive insulator, is made from hightemperature polyimide film conformally coated with a ceramic-filled silicone.

This construction reportedly provides higher electronic insulation and thermal conductivity properties, compared to fiberglass-based insulators. T-gard 500 is also more flexible, thinner, and less costly than fiberglass, with superior cut-through resistance.
