Ionic-contamination tester for coatings

Dec. 8, 2005
The SCS Ionograph SMD IV ionic-contamination test system is reportedly the first ionic-contamination testing device outfitted with Bluetooth technology. This lets users wirelessly transmit data from the instrument to the SCS PowerView software for monitoring and analysis.

It uses an ultrapure alcohol/water extraction media and a dynamic testing method to evaluate components quickly and without destruction. The system is the first cleanliness testing system to be Intertek ETL SEMKO (ETL) certified. In addition, it meets National Fire Protection Association standards and is nitrogen inerted for increased safety.
