The Plus+1 Guide 3.0 software for mobile machine-control systems is designed for use with the company's microcontrollers, I/O modules, and compliant components. Guide (graphical-user integrated development environment) has over 30 new basic components and a host of features to increase development productivity, improve security, and for rich graphical displays. A preview display simulator eliminates the need for a CANbus connection to a physical display before a graphical program can be viewed. The simulator lets users check and debug display functions from their computers. The display screen editor lets users associate control signal values with text strings and images. A data-logging feature records vehicle and operator productivity and monitors machine performance by extracting and analyzing data gathered from predefined checkpoints during operation.
