Software Supports Mechanical-Engineering Decisions

Jan. 12, 2006
GrafiCalc combines sketching, calculations, analysis, and geometry optimization to help engineers make decisions in the premodeling stages of design before advancing to more expensive design steps.

It includes ondemand Monte Carlo statistical analysis and a programmable geometrical calculator, among other features. The program, a Windows, 32-bit selfcontained application, can be used stand-alone or with CAD solid-modeling applications.
