    Sensors Sport 15-M Range

    April 1, 2005
AS6000 area sensors provide long-range detection for nonsafety applications.
    Staff

They feature a 15-m range, response time as fast as 24 msec, and a compact 31 X 32-mm cross section to detect objects as small as 30 mm in diameter. Industrystandard M12 connectors facilitate installation. The AS6000 requires no separate controller and targets factory-automation applications involving object detection of moderate to large size. It can also be used in low-cost vehicle detection. Offering npn or pnp outputs, and capable of switching high-current loads to 250-mA dc, the AS6000 will interface to almost any control system.
