Fast-Curing Liquid Silicone

Oct. 21, 2004
KEG2000, a liquid injection-moldable silicone, has high viscosity under low shear stress (pumping and shut-off) and low viscosity under high shear stress (injection).

FAST-CURING LIQUID SILICONE

This gives it good gate-balance and a wide processing window, helping reduce cycle times and eliminating waste. The silicone had good mold release properties, is FDA and USP Class-VI compliant, and has a 20 to 75-Shore-A hardness.
