Data Flows Easily Into Electronic Analysis Software

Jan. 6, 2005
AnsoftLinks V3 software streamlines data flow from widely used electronic design automation vendors into Ansoft products.

The latest version features a translator for Mentor Graphics Expedition and an enhanced link to Cadence Virtuoso for improved geometry export and solid modeling. V3 lets engineers transfer integrated circuits (IC), printed-circuit boards (PCB), and package designs into any of Ansoft's electronic products to analyze, verify, and optimize electromagneticassociated performance characteristics, such as ringing, reflection, ground bounce, simultaneous switching noise, and intersymbol interference. Reusing existing layouts saves engineering time and money and avoids user-introduced errors associated with manual design entry.
