Positive-Displacement Flowmeters

April 1, 2005
HPD Series positive-displacement flowmeters are suited for high-viscosity, nonabrasive fluids such as oils, polyurethanes, grease, and fuels.

An electronic interface provides seamless integration into a PLC, CPU, or PC data-acquisition card. The meters maintain accuracy within ±0.5% at low flow rates even when viscosity changes. The rugged meters have stainless-steel gears and bearings and stainless or high-strength-aluminum bodies. Port sizes are 0.25, 0.50, and 1.25-in. NPT for flow ranges from 0.003 to 120 gpm. The meters operate at pressures to 5,000 psi and temperatures to 400°F, and require no costly upstream or downstream straight-run piping. Two HPD Series batch controllers complete the system.
