Electronic Proportional Regulator

Nov. 17, 2005
The P3HP electronic proportional pressure regulator quickly and accurately adjusts and maintains a set output pressure.

The unit handles compressed air and inert gas and is suited for applications requiring more-precise pressure control than possible with standard regulators. It eliminates inconsistencies caused by time, cycling, input, back pressure, and pressure and flow variations. An input signal (0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA) defines a set value, and the unit adjusts the corresponding output pressure. An integrated pressure sensor continuously measures output pressure and compares it with the input signal. If they are different, the P3HP adjusts the output accordingly, ensuring fast, accurate pressure regulation. Applications include paint-spray control, paper manufacturing, welding, and other automation applications that require accurate remote pressure control. A special food version meets IP65 standards.
