Five-Phase Stepmotors And Drives

Feb. 22, 2007
The RK five-phase stepmotor's basic angle of 0.72° can be electronically divided into 250 microsteps.

The RK driver provides 16 resolution levels for microstep low-speed and full-step high-speed operation. The motors come in three basic motor types: the standard motor, the IP65-rated motor, and the geared motor in frame sizes of 42, 60, and 85 mm (1.65, 2.36, and 3.35 in.) The 85-mm stepmotor interfaces to a slightly larger gearhead (90 mm) for all gearhead types. The IP65-rated standard motor is only available in the 60 and 85-mm frame sizes. The units work on the standard voltages of 100-to-115 and 200-to-230 Vac at 50-or-60 Hz.
