    FDA-Compliant Nylon

    June 17, 2004
Nylatron LFG is a lubricated, cast nylon that resists wear and meets FDA Regualtion 21 CFR, Section 177.1500 (c) (6).

    FDA-COMPLIANT NYLON

It's internally lubricated via a permanently suspended oil that continuously lubes the surface. Internal lubrication doesn't leach out after machining or in use. Compared to other cast nylons, the material reportedly has an improved coefficient of friction, resists wear better at temperatures to 200°F, and machines easier. Nylatron comes in a wide range of rod, sheet, and tube sizes.
