Amorphous Silicon Infrared Detector

The UL 02 15 2 amorphous silicon infrared detector can be used in thermography and industrial applications and has a 160 120-pixel-array format. Its thermal time constant is less than 7 msec.

It has a CMOS readout circuit, 70% area fill factor, and an 8 to 14- m spectral response. Its operating temperature ranges from –40 to 140°F (–40 to 60°C). The electrical interface includes analog and digital video outputs. It weighs less than 0.18 oz (5 gm).
