Product Spotlight: Fieldbus Connections

Nov. 7, 2008
The LioN-Link is a line of modular IP 67 fieldbus systems consisting of bus-coupler modules that provide a connection between an entire fieldbus system and fieldbus independent I/O modules.

The I/O modules are based on DeviceNet, Profibus-DP, or CANopen, and are distributed to the field via two lines. Up to 30 modules (Profibus), 15/branch, can be connected to the system for a total line extension of 100 m/branch. The units also feature rear and lateral mounting, as well as staggered ports for easy installation of molded cordsets and field-attachable connectors.
