Nevastane lubricants are now certified as Kosher Pareve by Star-K, as well as NSF H-1 by NSF International.

The compounds may be used as lubricants and antirust films on equipment and machine parts or as release agents on gaskets or seals of tank closures. The kosher-rated products include all Nevastane fluid lubricants, flushing oils, seamer fluids, and Silicone SafeGuard, which serves as a chain-drive lubricant, electrical contact and break cleaner, and release agent
