Double-Welded Pump Tanks

March 17, 2005
Double-welded pump tanks are available in either stainless steel or epoxy-coated carbon steel.

Highefficiency, close-coupled, nonoverloadingcentrifugalpumps meet process and refrigerationrequirements for optimal flow and pressure. The tanks have NEMA-12 electrical junction boxes for a single-point electrical connection that protects electronics against dust. Pump suction legs are angled to prevent vortexing and pump cavitation. This lets the unit be used for lower-level operation that economizes water and chemical usage. Optional features include a NEMA-4 electrical enclosure, an enclosed cooling-tower control for single-point interface, high-temperature and low-flow alarms, a make-up valve, discharge check valve, and OSHA-approved ladders, rails, and toe boards (for elevated tanks).
