RFID For Factory Automation

Jan. 12, 2006
Cobalt HF radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems support complex automation in pharmaceutical, automotive, electronic, and clinical applications that require reliable RFID auto-identification of work in progress.

HUB communication modules with I/O trigger local events within 100 msec to drive diverters and alarms without communication to a host. This eliminates delays in action taken on a manufacturing line. A Windows PC-based Dashboard utility lets users easily configure, debug, and maintain installations. Systems operate at the universal 13.56-MHz RFID frequency.
