A Size-14 high-force captive linear actuator features engineering thermoplastics

CAPTIVE LINEAR ACTUATOR

in the rotor drive nut and a stainless-steel Acme leadscrew for quiet and maintenance-free operation. The actuator delivers up to 50-lb thrust and is available in resolutions ranging from 0.00012 to 0.00192 in./step. Designed with an integral antirotation mechanism, the actuator is well suited for applications in which external antirotation methods are not practical. The Size 14 is suitable for applications requiring precise positioning and rapid motion, such as medical equipment, X-Y tables, and valve control.
