Insulated 9-V Battery Straps

    Three models of 9-V battery straps include "Premium" highperformance straps in a T or I configuration; "Economy" in the same configuration; and "Dual" for connecting 9-V batteries in series or parallel. Premium styles come in a rigid-vinyl or rigid-fiber base with high-quality insulation and performance-rated spring steel and nickel-plated snap-on connectors.

    They have soldered-in #26-awg wire leads available in three wire lengths — 4, 6, and 8 in. for the vinyl-cover style, and 4, 6.5, and 8 in. for the fibercover style. The Economy models are fully insulated and feature brass, nickel-plated contacts with vinyl covering. Wire lengths are 4, 6, and 8 in. with leads in red and black. Two prewired Dual battery-strap designs are manufactured with fiber bases and steel, nickel-plated contacts, with pretinned 7-in. red and black lead wires soldered-in for reliability.
