High-Power Induction Servomotor

May 10, 2007
High-Power Kinetix (HPK Series) motors use an optimized winding design that mimics the speed/torque curve of conventional PM servomotors to deliver peak torque that is twice the continuous torque running at base speeds.

The motor also comes with single or multiturn, high-resolution absolute feedback that eliminates homing routines, improves velocity regulation, and expands inertia matching capacity. The motor is fully optimized when combined with the Kinetix 7000 high-power servodrive, extending the power range of traditional servomotors up to 150 hp.
