The front bushing of the potentiometers are upgraded with better bearing materials and the rear bearing now provides more internal stability. Model 7288 device is based on the 7286 10-turn wirewound potentiometer; Model 7388 is based on the 7386 three-turn wirewound potentiometer; Model 7488 is based on the 7486 five-turn wirewound potentiometer; and the 8148 device is modeled on the 8146 10-turn hybrid potentiometer. All feature industry standard specifications, including ⁷⁄₈-in. diameters, ¹⁄₄-in. shafts, and ³⁄₈-in. bushings.
