Motors And Drives For 575 V

Dec. 14, 2006
Available in 15 to 100-hp sizes, Blue Chip XRI motors meet NEMA Premium efficiency levels.

The motor is rated for inverter duty with a 10:1 variable torque and 20:1 constant torque on variable frequency drives with a 1.0 service factor and continuous duty at 40°C ambient.

The Black Max Series of vector-duty motors features constant torque operation from zero to base speed on vector drives. The motors feature both C-face and rigid-base mounting in sizes from 0.5 to 30 hp. Both motors are UL and CSA recognized.

The GS2 VFD ac drives feature 575-V operation for motors from 1 to 10 hp and offers dynamic braking and PID control. The drive is equipped with a programmable analog input and output, six digital inputs, and two relay outputs. The standard removable keypad lets operators configure the ac drive to set speed, start and stop the drive, and monitor specific parameters.
