All-Purpose Cases

June 7, 2006
Nearly 8,000 cu in. of storage space in Model 1640 cases let users transport full-sized computer towers and larger sensitive electronics.

Features include two double-hand side grips for easy team lifting, two heavy-duty sets of ball bearings, polyurethane wheels, and an extension handle with release latch. Stainless-steel-reinforced padlock protectors defend against cutting and theft. Lid organizers, utility padded divider sets, and TSA-accepted PeliLocks let users customize cases for transporting sensitive electronic or camera equipment and for shipping inside trade-show-booth containers. Additional standard features include a lid with a polymer O-ring for a dust and waterproof seal, and an automatic Gore-Tex pressure-equalization valve that blocks moisture and prevents vacuum lock.
