Power Monitoring Software

Sept. 16, 2004
PowerLogic System Manager Software (SMS) Version 4.0 monitors electrical power use by facilities.

The software now has a new user interface and includes standard Webenabled capabilities for each member of the SMS product family. This lets users access nodes from anywhere within their facility so long as they have security clearance and access to the company's intranet. Version 4.0 also features an enhanced interface that lets users select tabs at the top of the page to review energy-consumption trends, power quality system health, graphical diagrams showing state of power sources, and more. The new interface also separates system setup features from everyday tasks so there are few concerns about inadvertently changing settings.
