Incodermotors, available as permanent-magnet dc and brushless-DC motors and gearmotors, are equipped with encoders right inside the motor.

Incodermotors, available as permanent-magnet dc and brushless-DC motors and gearmotors, are equipped with encoders right inside the motor. The prewired motor-encoder combination are designedfor applications requiring low-resolution speed and position feedback. The 4.5 to 12-V magnetic encoders are available with one or two Hall-sensor output signals in 2, 4, 8, and 30 pulses/rev resolution. The devices work with digital tachometers or other electronic devices to measure speed, distance, and direction.
