New Products: Ultrathin Clear Heaters

Aug. 21, 2008
A new line of flexible Thermal-Clear heaters have a microthin wire-heating element sandwiched between opticalgrade polyester sheets that produce uniform or profiled heat patterns without blocking light.

These heaters can integrate temperature sensors, flex circuits, controllers, or other electronics.

Low-mass Thermal-Clear heaters operate at temperatures as low as –55°C, have high-watt densities for fast warm up, and tight resistance tolerance for constant and repeatable output.

The unit’s rugged polyester construction prevents damage during installation and operation. Optional features include integrated RTDs or thermistors for accurate temperature sensing, Heaterstat sensorless controller, and flex-circuit terminations.
