Lug-Mounted Actuators

April 13, 2006
Lug-mounted, short-stroke hydraulic actuators have a short coupling distance between rod guides and pistons heads, offering ruggedness and durability in applications subject to side loads and bending moments.

A novel approach with this product line is enlarged piston rods for added strength. The rod, with close-fitting guides made of rigid bearing bronze, directly handles side loads and moments. The units are rated for 1,500-psi service with user-specified strokes in 0.1-in. increments.
