PXI Relay Multiplexer

Nov. 4, 2004
A new test and measurement module for the PXI platform called the P580 Relay Multiplexer includes 34 differential input channels that can be multiplexed onto two independent analog paths.

The ability to connect multiple sensors to one or two analog paths helps keep down overall system cost. Four front panel LEMO connectors can be configured as inputs or outputs. The module lets up to four external instruments be switched into a path via the LEMO connectors. The P580 also controls switching sequences via plug-and-play drivers or scanner memory.
