New Product: PDM for SolidWorks

Dec. 13, 2007
Product-data-management software PDMWorks Enterprise 2008 works with SolidWorks 3D CAD to help engineering organizations streamline workflow, audit documents, and securely manage engineering information.

A wide range of tools lets users create, edit, view, and manage BOMs for improved communication and collaboration among engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and purchasing. For example, suppliers working on, say, an assembly can customize BOMs, route them for approvals, and let reviewers edit them, without installing SolidWorks. The software supports Czech, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Swedish, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and simplified as well as traditional Chinese.
