Proximity Switches with Protection

March 8, 2007
A new line of capacitative proximity switches for monitoring liquid levels, pastes, and bulk materials feature IP 67 protection.

They are housed in PPO or PTFE synthetics, 304 stainless-steel, or nickel-plated brass. Four-wire switches are available in sizes M12, M18, and M30; two-wire switches in sizes M18 and M30, and embeddable or non-embeddable versions. Connections are made by standard 2-m cables or S12 connectors. Equipped with a 20-turn potentiometer, these switches let users adjust operating distance to be longer or shorter than the rated operating distance.
