Application Toolkit Handles DWF Files

Sept. 15, 2005
The Autodesk DWF Toolkit lets software developers create applications for reading, writing, viewing, printing, and querying Design Web Format (DWF) files.

It now supports multiple operating systems including the Mac OS and Linux. Toolkit features 3D support, easy access to 2D APIs, and access to DWF-Composer-markup data and object properties from AutoCAD 2006-based products. DWF is an open, standards-based specification that lets designers share intelligent design data with both project team members as well as non-designers without compromising accuracy, security, or original intent. The software is free to developers.
