Stepmotor/Driver/Controllers

July 27, 2006
SilverPak 17T bipolar stepmotors integrate stepmotor, microstepping driver, and controller, eliminating the need for external equipment.

These 1.8°, NEMA-17 controllers come in RoHScompliant versions upon request. Body lengths of 2.76, 2.99, and 3.31 in. produce up to 85 oz-in. of holding torque, depending on the stack size of motor. Custom windings (standard) maximize torque at desired speed. The SilverPak 17T features output currents of 0.1 to 1.5 A peak, input voltage of 7 to 28 Vdc, and 16 kbytes of onboard memory. There are two digital limit switches, one general-purpose input that allows manual positioning of the motor and one open-collector output capable of outputting 100 mA.
