    LED Stack Lights

    Nov. 9, 2006
LED-based stack light lamps give visual indication of machine status from anywhere on a factory or office floor.

Designated the SL3 Series, the lamp provides 360° of visibility, even in high ambient lighting conditions. The SL3 is designed as a drop-in replacement for a variety of incandescent bulb-based stack lights and signal towers. Offered in 12 and 24 Vac/dc and 120 Vac, the stack light lamp utilizes a shunt resistor to reduce false indication from PLC leakage currents and other circuit-protection devices to protect the lamp from voltage surges and ESD damage. Available in red, yellow, green, blue, and white, the SL3 sports a 15-mm-diameter fresnel lens and a selection of base styles for installation in a variety of 30, 50 and 70-mm stack lights. Operating life is up to 100,000 hr. The SL3 Series LED stack light is available as T-4 1/2 candelabra screw base, single and double-contact bayonet base LED lamps, and as custom assemblies.
