Tiny Pressure Sensors

Sept. 15, 2005
HPX Series pressure sensors come in a gage type with six-pin dual in-line packaging and an absolute version as a small-outline IC.

Both are nonamplified and noncalibrated. They feature Wheatstone bridge construction, silicon piezoresistive technology, and ratiometric output. Pressures can range from 0 to 100 psi and operating temperatures should be between 40 and 125°C (40 to 257°F). Response times are typically about 1 msec.
