Spacers/Nuts for PCBs

Feb. 17, 2005
ReelFast SMT spacers/nuts mount on printed-circuit boards using standard automated surface-mount techniques.

They join a growing family of PEM ReelFast SMT products and can serve as spacers to separate and stack boards, or as nuts for board mounting and component attachment. The fasteners install in boards as thin as 0.060 in. Threaded types come in sizes #4-40 through #8-32 and M3 through M4; through-hole (nonthreaded) types in sizes 0.116 and 0.143 in. and 3.6 and 4.2 mm. Lengths range from 0.065 to 0.375 in. and 2 to 10 mm. Tape-and-reel packaging conforms with industry standards and each reel carries up to 1,500 parts.
