Soft Shrink Films For Packaging

April 27, 2006
Embrace High Yield shrink film is soft and produces labels for packaging that make little noise when handled by consumers.

It blocks UV and when stretched creates a white, opaque microvoided shrink film. It can have a specific gravity below 1.0 gm/cc, which makes it easier to separate labels from PET. This should simplify recycling. Labels made from Embrace High Yield are soft to the touch, easy to grip, and halogen-free. High-shrink films made from the material adhere to contoured containers and maintain their shrink curve at onset temperature.
