New Product: Long-Distance Laser Sensor

April 10, 2008
The M12 laser sensor, with an operating range of 50 m, is for use in hostile areas that prohibit the use of photoelectric and fiber-optic sensors.

The IP67-protected, stainlesssteel sensors are immune to interference from light sources, resist high shock levels, and are protected against electromagnetic radiation. Features include 10 to 30-Vdc operating supply voltage, 5-kHz switched output frequency, 200-mA current rating, –25 to 55°C sensing range, are short-circuit and inverse polarity proof and overload protected.
