Proportional Valve With Devicenet

Nov. 4, 2004
VP51 proportional valves now have DeviceNet capabilities.

Providing command and feedback pressure via DeviceNet helps speed setup — saving time and cost. Proportional technology allows variable and precise control of pressure, flow, force, and position. Applications include adhesive dispense, paper tensioning, and laboratory sampling. The series incorporates advanced spool technologies that allow true stepless pressure or flow control. The benefits are smooth response and low noise. A glandless Teflon-coated spool valve resists corrosion and wear, and has a proven life in the range of 30 million cycles. Output pressures range from 0 to 150 psi and the VP51 consumes <100 mA/2.5 W. Ambient operating temperature is 23 to 122°F and the units are IP65 rated.
