Institutional casters The 1370 and 1470 Series of casters are suitable for light institutional duty.

Both types have zinc-chromatized pressed steel housings and double ball-bearing swivels. The 1370 Series caster wheel is 3-in.-diameter black polyamide with black elastic rubber tread. It operates at 23 to 104°F and up to 100 lb/wheel. The 1470 Series features a polypropylene wheel center with a polyurethane tread and withstands temperatures from 4 to 140°F. This Series is available in 2, 3 and 4-in. diameters and supports up to 168 lb/ caster. The 1470 Series is NSF certified for food-service applications.
