The bracket creates a cleaner, more-streamlined look while providing added protection for the recessed latch. Each kit includes a bracket to accommodate the latch, plus a rubber O-ring for sealing around the head of the latch actuator to keep out dust and moisture. With the appropriate latches and gaskets, the units are suitable for NEMA-4 and IP65 applications. Brackets come in two depths. One accommodates typical 0.25-in. head styles, the other is for 0.35-in. Railway Standard and Bellcore heads. Brackets mount with two M5 studs or bolts and are available in galvanized or stainless steel. Vise Action Series latches provide consistent 0.25-in. pull-up compression to minimize vibration and noise or compress gaskets for environmental and EMI/RFI sealing.
